Business School IESe rangschikt 120 landen op basis van hun aantrekkelijkheid voor Private Equity en Venture Capital.

Welke landen bieden de meest veelbelovende markten, de krachtigste intituties, de meeste steun voor ondernemingen, de beste bescherming van eigendom en de sterkste corporate governance, alle eigenschapopen die het land aantrekkelijk maken voor venture capital en private equity (VC/PE) professionals?

En de winnaar is… de VS. Gevolgd door het UK, Canada, Singapore en Japan. En ons land is veertiende, tussen Noorwegen en Belgie op de Venture Capital & Private Equity Country Attractiveness Index 2015.

Dat is twee plaatsen lager dan in 2014…

De index rangschikt 120 landen qua aantrekkelijkheid voor VC/PE investeerders, op basis van een zestal drivers:

Economic activity, including GDP and expected GDP growth
Depth of capital markets, including IPO activity and financial market sophistication
Taxation, including incentives for entrepreneurs and the ease of filing
Investor protections and corporate governance, including legal protections
Human and social environment, including education, labor regulations and corruption measures
Entrepreneurial opportunities, including indicators of innovation, corporate R&D, and the ease of starting, running and closing a business.
