Tine van de Werken RA in IFAC Commissie

NBA-lid Tine van de Werken RA, CFO van Dümmen Orange, is vanaf 2017 voor drie jaar benoemd als lid van het Professional Accountants in Business Committee (PAIB) binnen IFAC.

Gedurende de afgelopen zes jaar werd de NBA vertegenwoordigd door Henny Kapteijn-Fokkens, professioneel bestuurder en commissaris.

Het PAIB Committee van IFAC (International Federation of Accountants) is er voor alle accountants in business wereldwijd.

IFAC over de rol van het PAIBC Committee:

‘Its aim is to promote and contribute to the value of professional accountants in business. To achieve this objective, the activities of the committee focus on:
Increasing awareness of the important roles professional accountants play in creating, enabling, preserving, and reporting value for organizations and their stakeholders; and
Supporting member bodies in enhancing the competence of their members to fulfil those roles. This is achieved by facilitating the communication and sharing of good practices and ideas.’

De NBA laat weten blij te zijn met de benoeming in deze internationale commissie, zodat in een vroegtijdig stadium meegewerkt kan worden aan nieuwe ontwikkelingen, onder meer op het terrein van risico management, integrated reporting en corporate governance.
