Hans Hoogervorst herbenoemd als IASB-voorzitter

Dit hebben de Trustees of the IFRS Foundation vandaag bekendgemaakt. Vice-voorzitter Ian Mackintosh gaat niet voor een tweede termijn. Op 30 juni 2016 treedt hij af.

Onder leiding van Hoogervorst en Mackintosh heeft de IASB een aantal kwaliteitsverbeteringen van de financiële verslaggeving doorgevoerd, waaronder de afronding van IFRS 9 Financial Instruments, IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers en onlangs nog IFRS 16 Leases. In dezelfde periode nam het aantal landen dat IFRS en IFRS for SMEs toepast sterk toe.
