EY benoemt voormalig eBay executive Jeff Wong als Global Chief Innovation Officer

Bij EY gaat Wong leidinggeven aan het onlangs opgerichte global innovation team. Wong begon zijn carrière bij Boston Consulting Group, waarna functies volgden bij JAFCO America Ventures en J.P. Morgan Partners. De laatste tien jaar was hij bij eBay werkzaam in het Marketplaces Strategy team, waar hij de oprichter en senior director werd van de Business Incubation Group. Deze eBay-tak was verantwoordelijk voor het lanceren van nieuwe startups voor eBay Marketplaces.

Global managing partner Carmine Di Sibio zegt dat EY met de benoeming van Wong een ‘bold statement’ maakt. ‘He brings greater connectivity and new ways of thinking to the organization, and will help drive greater results to EY and our clients.
